Equalized defense against Gauss and Pulse in most places to let them stand on their own. Basically, if you want to see how much damage each weapon does against each level of defense (and are prepared for an excel file most daunting), PM me. But otherwise, just take this to heart:

Pulse is better than Gauss against Very Light, Light, and (barely) Medium Armor.
Gauss is better than Pulse against Heavy and Superheavy Armor.

Piercing Weapons like Sniper Rifle variants are better against heavier armor, and Spread Weapons like machine guns are better against lighter armor. Rifles are kind of in between, so you whether you use Pulse or Gauss against Medium Armor, it doesn't make a big difference.

Edit: Gauss is better for Piercing Weapons and Pulse is better for Spread Weapons usually.

Just keep those things in mind. Example: Soon I'll be posting the pirate factions, so say, if we're going up against 'Faction X' we'd know that they use lighter armors so Pulse is probably the mainstay of our weaponry for that battle, though you're free to choose whatever.

Very Light
Ballistics - Weak
Beam Lasers - Weak
Gauss - Vulnerable
Pulse Lasers - Vulnerable
Plasma - Vulnerable
Fusion - Vulnerable
Particle - Vulnerable

Light
Ballistics - Moderate
Beam Lasers - Moderate

Medium

Shotguns are weird, since they kind of have a watershed between medium and heavy armor. For medium they're better for pulse, but beyond that they're better for gauss, so they're more akin to regular rifles.

Well done, Gem. You captured Terratorra's childish arrogance perfectly. I just hope Irina has the good sense not to let him steal her credit.

So, am I still going to be writing for Baka?

It's not like I don't want to, it's just that he's one of the more complicated characters of yours and I feel like might have to lose one of mine to it work, not to mention there is the rest of his family too. :/

But he's so cool that I'd hate to just not do anything with him and I'd almost feel like I'd be letting you down a little...

I never said you were going to be. It's fine, Frost. He's one of those characters that I'm leaving on ice. If Zmby gets the time to add him to his roster, so be it. If not, so be it.

I just suggested him to you as something as a parting gift, but in retrospect, he really is a complicated character, even without his family. But the good news is, since I'm coming back, you don't have to worry about him now. My primary focus (likely 75%) will now only be on Korra and Brigid, but I'll also use Baka from time to time. Cockroach or not, I love that little guy, and I'd hate to see him go the way of the superfluous fourth tier background character.

On that note I will post two big stories like I promissed I would.
One being more about Alexander von Braun and the other being a new character by the name of Zoey Frost (Zoey is a refrence character name to another XCOM Roleplay I did some time ago not on this forum). I will also add another part or two to my assassins creed story and I have also started a new thred that tells the origins of Lüsett and what would have happened to exalt if I would not have left to study, this is an alternative univers by the way. Quick links to these can be found in my signature I'm always open for suggestion and feedback.

Added something else to my signature. I emphasize that you do not have to look at this or abide strictly by what it outlines, this is just to provide reference material if you're interested in the nuances of things. (I don't use it for every shot fired, anyway, that would drive me nuts. But its cool to think about and use)

Yo know, it's going to be interesting when Cassia meets the commander. What would happen when a harsh military commander meets a lawless mercenary.

Yea but we all know the van dams by now, If your a good leader and worther or respect they will fallow you. But if she does something stupid like ou i don't know, send armed guarded or prevent having sex on the ship or something stupid like that, no there no way the commander would do that.

send armed guarded
Did that when escorting Hermes to her office. (before I controlled her)
prevent having sex
That's what the 'no fraternizing' rule means.

I mean, Cassia is free to not like those rules (And don't get me wrong, I don't like Astasha either, she's a mega bitch), but if Cassia disobeys orders or acts against them I'm going to let events take their natural course.

Don't worry Cassia isn't Scarlet, but she's not Ashley ether. But she will defiantly get under the commander skin.
