Ironically, I got the name Dhalexpert from borderlands. Because I love Dhal weapons in borderlands 2.
I always preferred Vladof or Bandit...but they were always so underpowered. I didn't like Dahl because it wasn't really my style. I could live with it but I don't really like Hyperion unless it was an SMG or Sniper.

Off topic here...

But I've been watching My little pony lately and I noticed something interesting...

The Unicorns in the show can all use magic, but what I've noticed is that all of them have different colors of magic...

Unicorns_being_drained_of_magic_S4E25.png

In this picture, we can see Yellow, Blue, Violet, and even Green. What if the Magic in my show works the same as Psionics in our Rp?

However... There seems to be a strange absence of Red magic in the show... The only time it has ever been seen is when a character was corrupted by the power of a magic amulet, filling her mind with anger and making her thoughts of revenge worse.

Maybe we don't see Red because pony's in society rarely get aggressive, thus making straight power psionics almost unseen. One of the only aggressive ponies in the show IS the one that was controlled by the amulet, giving her this red magic.

Food for thought I guess :p

Hm. Red. Red Psionics are the psionics of power.

So if ponies don't have red, that means...

YOUR PONIES HAVE NO POWER HERE!

But in all seriousness, here.

Strangely, I've yet to see much discussion of the story here. How did you guys like the mission? How's the general reception for recent posts been?

Alright, my plan for today is to get a collaboration with Addington in, do the true formation of the White Wolves, and potentially an extra collab and solo if I have time.

Just tried playing through XCOM again since it has been a while and I want to get the last of the achivments on it. Then I was reminded that apperently every soldier in XCOM has never fired a gun before... and the fact that aliens do not care if you are 20km away hunkered down behind full cover, they will oneshot you anyway. (Not to mention that is exactly how my first character died in Odd's RP, but he was even behind a house that covered him from the line of sight from aliens, wallhacks ftw.)

Also, if anyone's curious, based on my vague mental map there are 6 wings of rooms besides officer quarters, which are fairly nice and separate. (Lucky Addington and other officers)

Wing A is for scientists, Wing B is for engineers. (Front of the ship)
Wing C and D are for soldiers and security guards. (Middle of the ship)
Wing E is for temporary crew and any refugees or the like.
Wing F is for other staff not falling under the main classifications (Like record managers and such)

You don't have to number your room or anything, this is just a tidbit for anyone interested.

Alright guys hear me out, got a small idea here. So I just love horror games, the feeling it gives me, that jump scared, if they could kill me I would be dead a thousand times. Now one scarry mission in XCOM was the one with the chryssalids and the ship in the canadian fishing village. But one major problem was that the horror was not really there as much as I liked it to be. So I got to thinking, imagine you are an XCOM soldier and are trapped inside a house (a really really big house.) With these things. I'm talking about Aliens horror here. So my question is have you guys ever done a horror story mission before? I'm talking real horror that could get the reader to sit on the edge of his chair wondering what would happen next.

I know main story comes first so here is an idea for a side plot story, much like the one in XCOM for you guys to take a look. During the attack on earth the aliens hat to transport the units there one way or another. What if one ship was lost during the flight to the planet because of a chryssalid attack (chryssalid went rouge and overthrew the ship). The ship has never reached earth and is now floating about in space all broken and unuseabel. No sign of live emits from it, but a huge amount of elerium and meld is stored on it. A handful of soldiers 5-7 or so were send to investigate the ship and see if it was worth the salvage and to see if it was save. Once the crew arrived at the wreckage they found that it was not all that broken and was causing a problem in their communication to the Einherjar. Seeing that this could be a problem the crew decided to return to their dropship but then the chryssalid start to creep out of their hiding and start to attack (not XCOM attack but real horror like.) Snatching someone from the dark who will later be found with only his upper torso still there. So be prepared to send people there who you want dead. (Heroes do not come back). All in all the crew would have to take another route which is way longer to return to their dropship, or maybe even try to find an old but still working alien ufo to fly away from. I read the lore of the chryssalid for XSDF and I would say that these chryssalid are a little more aggresive duo to the many years of being alone and out of their nature, but we could still talk about that. I know my current dude is just an Engineer and not a soldier but if there is such a horror mission I would love to come up with an excuse to send my guy on his merry little way to that ship.

Now keep in mind this is just a suggestion, in no way am I saying that this should be done, or if it will be done that it should be done 100% like I said above, changes can still be made at any time. It was just a suggestion and I would love to hear your opinion. I'm also fine if it is just not possibel to put this as a small side plot again it was just an idea I had, to change things up if need be.

Interesting, and definetly worth thinking about. Would have to iron out specifics and reasons why we couldn't just scan the ship and such, but if our glorious leader likes the idea...

I'm in. But If James gets sent on I do want him to come back...

And since the mission is aboard an derelict ship, I could maybe tie it into the discovery of something the Ethereals left behind....

Gemi knows what I'm talking about. :D

I'm on somewhat of a tight schedule since I'm going to be gone for two weeks in August, so I'm not sure I can work in another mission BEFORE we get to Forseti.

And besides, if James were to go, it would HAVE to be after we finished the voyage. The voyage makes sure that all the player characters are specialists before we get to Forseti. If I added another mission in that would make James be a LCPL over everyone else for an abstract reason, not gonna do that.

If we do decided to take my idea I would request it to happen way later in the story anyway, so I can further develope my character and his role in this univers. I think everyone else would also want that. So what I want to say that this is a mission I thought would be more suited for later rather than early in the RP story.
