Last Name: Vilochev (v-low-chev)
Reason for application to X-COM:Zatch was a young boy when his troubles first started he was prosecuted as a boy for having fox tail and ears. his past is unknown, even to himself.
But as far as he can remember there has always been " the little one". his psychiatrist reported that he would always report saying there was a little one on the roof, or a little one under the bed. Vilochev described the little one as grey, small, and big black eyes.
he was eventually committed to the clinging vine home for the crazed, he was voluntary, at age 13, so all his family abandoned him. eventually he passed the exit exam. science then he has committed himself to finding the little one. he was obsessed with finding him day and night he would search for the little one out in the mountains, tracking the little one, eating only cactus buds that would induce hallucinations. it has been 10 years since he passed the exit exam. The X-COM police force/ recruitment center has captured him in Area 51. He has grown both physically and mentally. he stayed there at the prison for over 5 years all the time screaming at the guards why he was here. What did he do to deserve this? when they answer you were in restricted area he simply shakes his head slowly and says "I know what they really do here and i want to sign up." every time they reply "sir, we have no idea what your talking about. but they know. and he knows it. so until he can get accepted by commander odd, he will sit here and patiently wait, and when that time comes he will be ready. oh yeah and by the way he has a fox tail and ears dont ask please don't or he will get super mad.
Pledge: I have, on this day, voluntarily enlisted myself, as an elite military soldier, in the X-COM special forces. I am giving myself, unconditionally, to the cause. I do bind myself to conform, in all instances, to such rules and regulations, as set forth by my supreme commander ChristopherOdd. I trust him with my life. And by taking this oath, I realize, I may ultimately lose something while defending the planetary systems. My life.

Reason for Application to X-Com: I didn't want to do this. there must be some kind of mistake. i was just applying for a desktop support specialist. i just wanted an entry level IT position with good pay and benefits for me and my kids. i didn't know that this was a military job. i have kids to take care of i can be getting killed over some oil prices or some other political bull lie that. I'm just looking for a job not a death sentence. look i'm an IT guy put me in a base some where this some cat5 and active directory and ill be good but i'm not fighting no "Aliens".

Reason for application to X-COM: Life is simple. Serve God, love your family, tend your fields, reap what you sow. People call me The Farmer on account of my profession, so that's how I introduce myself. Real name don't matter; people tend to remember me anyways. Keeps things simple.
World's in danger now. That means everything important to me is in danger. Every man has the right to defend what's his. Means I need to fight to protect what I love. Simple.
Every military in the world's panicked, can't understand an enemy they weren't prepared for. Joining any of them will likely see me become cannon fodder. That don't fix anything. So I started looking for alternatives, found this group called XCOM. They seem to know what they're doing. Probably'll die anyway. Least this way my death might mean something.
Like I said. Simple.

Reason for joining: I'm a young man who's always been told he had a bright future ahead of him. As far as I can tell, alien invasions and bright futures don't go hand in hand, so I have come to... rectify that little problem. After my crash course training, I've been put on standby, ready to be called to the front at a moments notice.

Hi everyone, this is a post for Xenomorph768 on YouTube. He was having trouble posting here.

First Name: Legion
Last Name: Cynex
Reason for application to X-COM: The reason why Mr.Legion signed up for XCOM was due to his past with the Aliens before the invaded earth. Legion knew the aliens before and used to work for them. However he lost his mind due to a female sectoid and she was with him at the time. She betrayed him and Legion learned why they really wanted to do with earth. After Legion found out he left the female sectoid and signed up to join XCOM to warn the commander before the invaded...but..it was too late by then. Note: Legion is not human he is an Ethereal but in a human from.
Heya, Commander Odd, I had this great idea for a character. I know I've already posted a character, so feel free to ignore this, but this is so far back, it probably won't matter, and this character isn't designed to be used until after my other character dies anyway. You'll see why. Its mostly for your amusement.

First Name: Victoria
Last Name : Strange
Reason for application to X-COM: To save her father and hopefully prevent the war from taking as long as it did for her.

Audio Diary of Alexia Odd, March 1st, 2035:
As the last of them are rounded up, we must look at how we reached this point. The answer; with the human blood. Way, WAY too much human blood. After two decades of fighting such a horrific threat, I suppose I should be happy we won at all, but with an estimated death toll of over 3 billion world wide, did we really win at all? I won't accept it. I can't accept it. It has to be used. I pleaded with them to use it. "No," they said, "its too dangerous; after all, if the freaks had something so powerful, why wouldn't they use it, unless they feared what it could do." But I don't care, it has to be done, and if they won't use it, then I will.

Audio Diary of Alexia Odd, X Day, X Month, X Year:
I made it! It actually worked! Destroy the fabric of the universe, my ass! .....Ahem, well, uh, it wasn't easy to get here, and I didn't get through unscathed. I knew they would try to stop me, but I never imagined they'd actually shoot at me. I wasn't able to bring any weapons with me, and I was hoping my Medipack would help, but I had to use it on myself. I guess the info I have on this thing will have to do. I used it get into X-COM's systems. They'll probably find out they were hacked in no time and change their codes, but I was in long enough to enter myself into their ranks. I went with the name Victoria Strange. Ha, its the only thing I could think of. I'm sure father would laugh at how silly it is.

Speaking of whom ..... records show that it'll happen tomorrow. After my father's death, X-COM fell apart, and was unprepared when the freaks assaulted the base two years later. Its a shame; this is a nice base, and we really could have used it.

Audio Diary of Alexia Odd, X Day, X Month, X Year:
Its done. I saved my father. It was easier then I thought it would be, but I was a little caught off guard. The records say, well, SAID that he was found alone with half a dozen stab wounds in his stomach and died before he could tell anyone who attacked him, but to think it was none other then Colonel Jessica Andrews. She was the greatest soldier in X-COM, leading so many successful missions before sacrificing herself to destroy the Mother Ship. I had always wondered what dark past event kept her from accepting the role of Commander, and I guess now I know.

I found her standing in the hallway, barely bothering to hide the knife behind her back. I quickly snatched it from her hand, only for her to turn to look at me, not with confusion in her eyes, but pure rage at me for trying to stop her. Before I could take her away, my father arrived. He said hello to us, and asked Jessica what she wanted to show him. Thinking fast, I told him "she was just telling me she drew a picture of your daughter, but she misplaced it." He said, "I'm sorry to hear that. Well, if you find it, let me know, so we can show Alexia herself next time I get to vid-chat with her mother." Then he gave her a smile, placed his hand on her head briefly, and left, saying to me as he went "make sure she makes it back to her room safely." "Yes commander" is all I said.

I brought Jessica back to her room, and she explained that she blamed my father for sending her brother Joseph to his death. I explained to her that it wasn't the Commander's fault, because Joseph was a soldier, and if Commander Odd hadn't sent him, someone else would have, and killing the Commander wouldn't bring him back, and it definitely wouldn't make Joseph proud. She then collapsed in my arms and cried for over a half an hour straight. Hopefully, that's all she needed. I would say that father will never know how close he came to dying by the hands of a nine year old girl, but maybe he did. The way his eyes darted between Jessica's distraught face and the hand I was using to hide the knife behind my back, the wink he gave me as he left, could he have realized what was going on and immediately forgave her? Could he be that much of a tactical genius?

Audio Diary of Alexia Odd, X Day, X Month, X Year:
A week has passed, and Jessica is doing a lot better. She is smiling and laughing. She even drew a picture of me, uh, well, the other me, to show father. I heard he was planning on officially adopting her himself. I planned to save my father, but I never expected to gain a sister. I was kind of afraid I'd disappear once I saved him, but I'm still here. Does that mean I didn't make a difference in the long run, or did the universe make it so I had to exist to prevent that paradox the brass were so afraid of? Lets hope its the latter. At any rate, I'm still here, and I'm here to stay.. The info I brought with me is probably useless now. I'd love to go back to see what is different, but it was a one-way trip. I'll just have to help the old fashion way: I start my training tomorrow. I'll have to remember to call myself Victoria, and pretend I haven't done all this training already. I'm not too excited about fighting this war again, but with my father in charge this time, I know we're in good hands.

Some people are writers, some are football (soccer) players, but the military's always been my scene. I used to work as a mercenary for ████████. Remember the assassination of ██████ ████████? that was me and my squad. Of course, the FBI almost figured out that what we were doing wasn't strictly, shall we say, within the jurisdiction of the law. So we disbanded and I went back to selling illegal copies of Back To The Future 2 on the street for a while. Once I had decided it had been long enough since ████████ disbanded for the FBI to not be too curious, I went back to my duties as a soldier. Now with this alien scare going down, it just seems right for someone like me to be right in the middle of it.

Pledge: I have, on this day, voluntarily enlisted myself, as an elite military soldier, in the X-COM special forces. I am giving myself, unconditionally, to the cause. I was at my brother's wedding, he was a great man but unfortunately I was too weak to save him and the aliens killed him in front of me and his soon-to-be wife. I need to become stronger, I need to avenge him and kill this alien scum for the ruthless murdering. I am not that great with guns but I will put in all my effort to become a better marksman. I have had experience in close-combat fighting as I used to be involved with gangs but after the incident when my gang betrayed me, framed me for carrying all of their drugs and got me in jail for a year, I swore I would never trust someone who I wasn't very close with.

Full name: Dr Mond BA, BA Hons., MA, MSc, Ph.D,

First Name: Ian

Last Name: Mond (pronounced Mont)

Place of Origin: Germany, Berlin.

Reason For Enlistment:

Dr Mond could be considered a relic of the past, if the past accepted they had any knowledge of his existence. Dr Mond began his career working with the government on a variety experiments, each of which with their own varying levels of questionable ethics. It was here that Ian solidified his role as a 'G-Man'. If the government required something, Ian could/should/needed to do it. The entire experience last well over twenty years, which means, yes, he has had deep involvement with the X-COM Facility of 1998.
Within those years, Ian witnessed things that made the X-Files look like nursery rhymes and Zero Dark Thirty look like a paintball shootout. So, when the alien menace came again, he felt compelled to step up to the plate again. Military Training was standard for a man of Ian's position, but his love of science and all things technical was denied to him by your organisation, X-COM, specifically by that misstrauisch großes Gehirn that is Dr Vahlen. Denying him access to both the Research and Engineering Lab due to: 'Unsettling psychotic and anti-social behavior that is unsettling for someone I must be responsible for.'
Therefore, Dr Mond has no choice but to volunteer for the X-COM military. 'I've recruited, trained and armed these men and sent them to death so many times in the past, and they have never looked back once. Now, it's time to see what the fuss was about. and so, Pledge: I have, on this day, voluntarily enlisted myself, as an elite military soldier, in the X-COM special forces. My life.'And I think that is only fair, really.'

Sir.

Reason for application to X-COM: Why did I apply? Well acctually I didnt. Let me go back to the start. It wasnt that long ago, I was in the park with my girlfriend (I have been with her for 4 year's now and we were thinking about getting married), we were there to take a picnic but just as we layed out the blanket we heard a loud explosion from above, I reconized the sound...it sounded like a jet breaking the sound barrier, before i could look up the object fell infront of us and the last thing i can remember are citizens screaming and something that sounded like gunfire without bullets. As i woke up everthing was burned and there was no sign of my girlfriend anywhere or any human. I looked around and noticed some sort of silver box that was glowing green, it was probably the object that feel from the sky and knocked me out from the blast. I wanted to take a closer look but just then an alien jumped out from behind it but was shortly killed after by an X-Com team that was send to clear out the area. They started asking me alot of question that i didnt have any answears to. Then as I was told to go back to the ship we got ambushed, one soldier got killed almost instanly. Now I was trained in the German army and I should know what to do in this kind of situations but I never thought I would have to use my skill's and certainly not against aliens. None the less I took the gun of the fallen soldier and took cover. It was a short fight but i managed to kill 2 Aliens and survive. The other soldiers were amazed at my skill's. After we cleared the area the team offerd me to go with them back to base, at first I declined because I was worried about my girlfriend. Sadly the Soldiers told me that noone but me survived the blast. From that moment on I was overcome with much anger and sadness that I decided to go with them. I could have raised a family, that was my biggest life-wish, now that the aliens have destroyed it I will make sure to destroy there life-wish of killing the human's. Because in the end "Karma" always catches up to you.

Reason for application to X-COM: i want to help, i am not done fighting, i'm not just going to sit here and wait for death. I don't want to give up, i want revenge. You see my business was doing well. In fact i was the best thief of the whole group but then those things attacked. I lost a lot of good people that day, including my best friend. and worst of all, these things are bad for business. What it all comes down to is: i aplied because my job was my life and to me this world isn't worth living in, so either this world gets back to what it was or i die trying to bring it back.

Pledge: I have, on this day, voluntarily enlisted myself, as an elite military soldier, in the X-COM special forces. I am giving myself, unconditionally, to the cause. Reason for application to X-COM: A college student living in Dublin, Ireland, Smiley was content, he had a steady job, a nice girlfriend. When the aliens attacked Smiley found himself holed up in Trinity college with his fellow classmates and a few staff members. As an avid gamer with a love for survival games Smiley fell into the role of leader and slowly formed a militia to send small strikes against alien encampments. It was a full year before what was left of of the army managed to extract the small group. At the military base Smiley decided to sign up and began training to fight the aliens that had killed so many of his friends and family. He began to outshine the other cadets and was placed in a special programme to train for high risk missions in deep enemy territory. It was only after a few of these flawlessly executed missions that he was approached by a high ranking officer and briefed about the XCOM project. He signed up without a moments hesitation.

In school he constantly got kicked ut because of the fight's he got in. whenever he got angry at his parent's he would go hunting to calm himself. when he was 17 he got hs first girlfriend who is currently his wife. At the age of 18 he was forced in the army as all Russian men are. He had a knack for the army and while everyoe else left after a year, he was hired by the commander. He continued growing married his girlfriend and had there first child, a boy named Carlson. one day when he was at the base training the aleins attacked. A soon as he heard that his commander was calling everyone to fight, he ignored the plea and ran to see his wife a kid. when he got home he heard a scream and several laser sounding shot's. He ran in and saw the saw that thing standing above his wife without even thinking picked up the alein, threw it on the ground and smashed it's face into a pulp with his boot. After that he turned to his wife and laid down to see if she was alive. she was dead, he cried, he cried for the first time in years. The last time he cried was wen his son was born. He remembered his son he ran through the house looking for him and he remembered his special place he ran to the bedroom closet and found him curled up into a ball he was only 4 so he was crying. He hugged Carlson, and they had to leave before more of them came he took his pistol and rifle he keep's under his bed and left back to the base. when he came back only the commander and several wounded soldiers where left the commander said that the rest of the squad died against 3 of those things. Later he heard about the X-COM project and decided to join to make sure those rat bastards kill as little people as possible and to make sure there was someone to take care of his child if anything happened to him.

Reason for application to X-COM:

- Case# 12548 18:57, 24th of April-

The dossier was filled with the usual recruit information. Irish birth, immigrated to the US around the age of ten. Dark hair, green eyes. Enrolled in West Point, played Tight End on the Black Knights. Blew out an ACL during his junior year and never got a shot at going pro. Was stationed in Afghanistan, then went missing while on leave.

Blah blah blah, regulation shit. Hell by this time in the screening, it doesn't matter who they are, where they came from. There's only one word that matters: Why?

Signed Testimony, Document 7/19. Transcribed from interrogation tape.

Warren: It felt good, being home again. Away from the heat, the constant vigil. Hell, I was happiest to just get away from the dogs. I was in Florida, visiting family. But that night I just wanted some solitude. Fortune had it that my Bruins were in town. Yes, that's right. An Irish guy that lives in Boston. I picked up the nickname Cliche pretty quickly on base.

Game went well enough. It was an ugly win, but it was a win. I admit, I had one or two in me while I was driving home. Yes, it probably is why that instead of being able to stop with the rest of the traffic in it's sudden halt I rammed into the car ahead of me. I woke up in a hospital, strapped up to more machines and tubes that I could count without my head killing me. It's okay, I had something to ease the pain, Caitlyn. Mind you, when I opened my eyes and saw this woman, I thought I had died and went to heaven. She wasn't a swim suit model type of girl, but everything about her had this aura. Everything just seemed right. Of course, being the charming man I am, armed with the military draw and irresistible accent I have carried from my youth, we struck something up before I was shipped out again.

When I was done we got married. Settled down in Pennsylvania, on account of her wanting to be closer to her family. We had a simple wedding, with more of my military friends taking leave to show that I felt I deserved. Soon after was a girl, Brooke, and a boy on the way. My grandfather had passed, and my parents weren't fit to make the trip, so I had to go. It was far too long since I had seen them and could visit some childhood friends I still had contact with.

The whole trip irritated me. People trying to board before their section is called, stuffed overhead compartments, stale airplane peanuts. Then I felt it. Just like base jumping, I was falling out of the sky. My heart was racing, hand clutching the arm rests as I looked around the plane frantically to find a course of action. But the rest of the passengers were acting like nothing was happening. The clouds outside drifted along lazily as they would out of every normally flying plane would.

I woke up, again, in the middle of the damn woods, in debris I couldn't recognize. The air reeked of fire and ozone and I was dropped into a damned sci-fi movie. I had rifles shoved into my face and was taken to a confined room. I wasn't told anything. Medical staff came, did their job, and went. It took me 3 months of interrogation, which I was only able to calculate on how many times I slept, before I was even to gleam to word X-COM. I was told that everything I had done in the last 8 years since the accident was a lie. In 2 years, these damn aliens took a decade from me. They took a wife and children from me that I never had, but I still see every night when I close my eyes.

And you with all due respect, sitting there behind your wall of scientists, with more stars on your uniform than I thought was rightly possible are asking me "Why?" The answer seems quite simple to me.

Why. Not.

Reason for application to X-COM: Vexx was born in 1995, her father had left when she was young. Her mother died giving birth, she was put up for adoption then left in an orphan home. When she was eight, she was adopted by a small Russian family, the Novosibirsks. She'd stayed with them until she was twelve, then when the family was seperated, she went back to the orphan house until she was eighteen. She went off to college and took majors in Engineering. When she heard about the alien abductions, a little later after college, she'd not paid much mind to it. She'd moved to France with a few of her friends a while before the invasions. The country had been in panic, most people had gone missing amongst the battles... After hearing about a large ruckus near her apartment, she took a look on the news. She'd seen a small group of enforcers on the News, seeming to be just outside of a small gas station near her apartment. The reporter had seemed nervous, then the news had cut short. The city was being evacuated, on her way out, she'd noticed a large plane land, and an enforcer type of group come out. She'd thought for a while, then investigated further into this.

Vexx had discovered that the group was an Elite Task Force, lead by Commander Odd, of the X-COM Special Forces. She'd looked further into this and had decided that helping the X-COM cause would be the best thing to do in this situation. She'd found her expertise as an engineer not usefull in the way she wanted to help in. She'd decided to join the Combat Division, and fight for her world!

Reason for application to X-COM: It would defy current reason to explain in detail why I'm here. What I'm doing here. Even how. Suffice, for now, to be as obvious as possible. I -am- here to kill Xeno's. I -am- here to do what part I can in protecting a world I happen to live in. I -am- grinding my teeth in silent frustration at the idea that I'm defending much of social systems I've never had much good to say about in the process. But most of all...I'm here for me. For my life.

Progress.

At any risk.

I used to be part of the Russian Military and I was stationed at a Russian town called Dubna, I was with a whole other team of guys. We were fairly untouched by the war, until they came. We were caught off guard and they blasted into the sky above Dubna and shot fire unto the houses. My team and I holed up in our base, but it wasn't enough. One by one my teammates fell to the alien bullets during the night, after hours of covering my head and shooting into the night sky, I was the only one still alive. Because of our stand in our base we were able to keep away the aliens from the majority of the city, saving it from complete destruction. In the morning the X-COM team and the Russian Military came and forced the aliens away. They found me in the base alone and learned of my defense of Dubna, seeing what they called courage on my part, they offered me a position on the X-COM and I took it, knowing I had nothing left in Dubna, and now my only purpose on this world was to avenge my fallen team by blasting open the skull of every alien that dares raise their head from cover.
My life.

"Give me the mike. Don't listen to this guys carp. This is Stanley Hershel, I'm a guard at Longleaf Prison. That man applying is a confirmed sociopath. He has been charged with five counts of fist degree murder, all charges have been considered do to insanity."
"Hey I want to talk again. Look the prison was attacked by those alien creeps attacked the prison. Two came in to my cell I choked the first one out and for some reason it's exploded. That was so annoying I mean it just made a mess all over my cell. so any way I beat the other creep with the first's body. Man they have some squishy bones they are just so easy to snap... (sadistic laughter)... sorry about that. Well any how I'm more than capable of taking these things out. So if you want some one how is not afraid to kill I'm your man I will wait for your response, I'm not going any where."
" This is Stanley again I don't think this is a good idea..."
"OK you want an honest reason. Here it is I want to kill aliens simple as that"
