Jay won't be happy with Elma but he'll understand. Corruption with magic is powerful... btw, anyone else get a Lord of The Rings moment when Elma went evil for a moment?
Oh yeah, :p
This mission showcases the risk and price of directness. While it was a shorter mission, the path they chose to take, going for a frontline battle, cost them heavily. The price of expediency is often paid in blood. They didn't have a plan B if something like Elma happend either. All these factors caused the team to be basically shredded, and caused Eraqus's life changing injury.

However, if they had done something that took longer, or had not approached peacefully, Aine might not have been willing to turn on her sister, that or even she might have been corrupted.

All in all, the team chose to bear the burden of pain themselves, which is why Aine was so compassionate with Eraqus, she understood this. :3

Gunlance is pretty good, I mean being in the monsters face and blocking all there attacks. Makes you feel good.
yeah, but why wouldn't I just take a regular lance if I wanted good defense? Or a charge blade which does superior damage to the gunlance? it seems like a novelty. Maybe I just never gave it enough of a chance since I got to the end game but it would seem like a waste of resources to get one high tier for testing.

It's a lance with a gun,can you not just go with it. I mean the gun is a shot gun but still.

Funlance is for if you like the big defense of a regular lance, but you want a bit more damage output. Plus it's a lot less micro-managey than the CB, which I still can't wrap my old man brain around using.
