Appearance:
Arthur stands at a proud six feet and two inches, towering over most people he interacts with. He is muscular, but lacks a definition in his build (things like a six pack or ripped arm muscle.) He stands up straight most of the time, his hand kept inside of his navy blue mean jacket. He is usually seen in a dark red shirt and black slacks as well as smoking a cigarette.

Personality:
Arthur is a lax man, with his fair share of military discipline. He take criticism very seriously, while not being afraid to tell someone to "fuck off" should they cross the line. The guild leader is also known for getting involved in situations he likely shouldn't… and is rather over protective of his younger brother: Merlin.

Backstory:
Arthur was born into a military family. His father was a high ranking government official who worked closely with guilds across the Americas, while his mother was a philosopher who studied ancient texts from the European islands. Arthur lived a relatively simple childhood until he turned fifteen and his father sent him to boot camp. There he spent the next six years training to become a soldier… and to join a guild as a contracted military agent. His life had been changed forever, even if he had not realized it.

He did return home one day (under holiday leave) and learned what happened while he was gone. His father was reported "missing in action" and his mother died of an illness… leaving his younger brother, who was born shortly after Arthur was shipped, to survive off of the streets. He made it his mission to find his lost brother and try his best to give him the home he had been robbed of by the cruelty of fate.

Several years later, Arthur finds himself in a new situation, with a new opportunity. Due to the discovery of political corruption in the large guild, many high ranking agents were tasked with forging new guilds in the western portion of the United States… Arthur among them. With his younger brother by his side and some old friends backing him up, he now takes claim to the guild named "The Knights of the Roundtable."

Appearance:
Being small for this age, Merlin takes on the appearance of a stereotypical nerd. He wears a pair of glasses and grey mage ropes, with a pocket watch acting as a necklace. His hair is rather thick and not well combed. Merlin's bangs often get in front of his eyes, resulting in him constantly moving them out of the way. He is usually seen carrying a bookbag.

Personality:
Despite his clumsy and anti social nature, Merlin is an active and joking fellow who just doesn't like leaving his comfort zone. He's a nice and considerate person who is always willing to offer his help to others… even if it's to his own detriment.

Backstory:
Merlin was born into a military family as the second son of a guild advisor and a philosopher. Merlin never knew his older brother, his dad would bring him up in conversation, but never explained why he left. His mother told him not to worry, for Arthur would return one day. These conversations happened during nights his mother told him stories about King Arthur and his advisor Merlin the Wise. He would go to bed dreaming of becoming the best mage in the world.

His dreams would be shattered shiftly when his father was reported missing in action… and his mother died of a terrible illness a year later. In a state of fear and denial, Merlin accidentally teleported far away from his home. Now alone on the streets, Merlin found himself at the mercy of a town gang. He lived many more years as a member. However, on his twentieth birthday, a man by the name of Arthur showed up. It was a usual occurrence for them, but he stated to be Merlin's older brother.

The gang was not convinced by the man, and many of them were crippled or killed in the following fight. Arthur explained to Merlin that he had been sent to boot camp shortly before he was born, being oblivious to his younger brother's existence until he returned. Arthur could see the multitude of scares and made his younger brother a promise: To give him the life he lost from his childhood. His dream reignited by a sense of hope, Merlin now acts as his brother's advisor in their guild "The Knights of the Roundtable."

Appearance:
Rebecca is slim with a slight bust. She has a red rose tattooed onto her right eye and an eye patch covering her left one. She wears a large, dark brown dress that was inspired by olden nobility, with one of the sleeves cut off for her prosthetic arm. The dress also has the upper portion of the top cut to reveal cleavage (though this is mostly because she likes to store a flask in her bra… the cut making it easier to pull out when she needs it). Her cheeks are usually pink from her constant alcohol consumption.

Personality:
Rebecca the person is an anomaly that no one has ever truly seen. Rebecca the alcoholic is a loud, rambunctious woman who is often yelling at anyone who tries to call her out. She always has a drink in her hand (and another in her bra for travel)... Making it near impossible to ever find her undergoing a hangover, or just sober under any capacity. However, she isn't as gullible as your average drunk is either, making some even wonder if she is drunk at all.

Backstory:
Rebecca was a shy girl growing up, hiding behind her father any time she went anywhere. She grew up in a simple, middle class family… her father being a blacksmith for a smaller end guild. They lived a decent life, a dangerous one with the threat of death looming over her father, but a decent one nevertheless.

Towards the tail end of Rebecca's senior year of high school, her father was asked to investigate an old armory at the European Islands. In an attempt to avoid long distance communications… He prompted his daughter to join him on a "family vacation." Rebecca returned home three years later with a metal arm, an eye patch and a constant demand for booze. To this day, no one knows what happened to lead to her sudden change in personality. All they know is that Rebecca quickly reopened her father's workshop and became a blacksmith.

Two years later she would be approached by the new guild leader, Arthur Mithril. He claimed to have known her a few years back (something she did not remember) and gave her an offer: join his guild and take the next step towards honoring her old man's legacy. It was an offer she couldn't refuse… especially if it meant someone else had to pay for her drinks.

Appearance:
As a Shade, Yavira’s body is composed entirely of grey smoke enchanted by demon energy. Her body shape and form can be changed to whatever she sees fit at the time, though she has a preference towards a shorter, slimmer figure. She is easily identified by her beady red eyes and ashen pale skin, and long black hair made of manipulated smoke. When not floating around in her shade form, Yavira can be seen forming her body into a simple black dress (in a similar design to her hair).

Personality:
Yavira is a sarcastic being who is rather fond of lewd jokes and seductive tones (an interesting characteristic for a being with no physical form). She is quick to reply to those around her and even quicker to provide the sass whenever someone questions her capabilities. Some have even considered her to be arrogant and egotistical at times. One thing is certain, however… her undying loyalty to Arthur.

Backstory:
Little is known of the life Yavira lived prior to the Fragmentation and the Destruction of Africa. Some believe she was created after the demons cemented their foothold (like all other Shades) while others believe she is somehow connected to the Demon Realm itself. Yavira would never tell you, as she has no memory beyond wandering the Mortal Realm… lost in a sea of hatred. She was one of the first to experience the rage of those who had lost their loved ones to the demons’ crusade… leaving her alone as she wandered the states, countries and islands of our world. One day she came across an old man, an enchanter of the ancient ways. He called himself Greival, and wished to teach the young shade. Yavira made herself at home, learning as much as she could about the ancient technique that would later be known as Ritual Enchanting… but Greival had other motives.

The old enchanter attempted to use her immortal body to grant himself unending power… a fruitless effort as she fled before he could capture her. Having stolen the old man’s books, knowledge and legacy, Yavira went into hiding. Another one hundred years would pass before a man by the name of Arthur Mithril was sent to investigate sightings of a shade in the English Armor Museum. Yavira, who had been admiring the weapons and armor during graveyard shifts, was given a chance to live a peaceful life with humans. A life under the roof and protection of the military commander Arthur… and later as his enchanter once he had to take the mantle of Guild Leader. Yavira has since broken out of her shell of fear and shadows, but many wonder if she still harbors hate for those who shunned her for centuries...

Appearance:
Elizabeth is a tall and slender figure with very prominent and angled facial features. Her ears are shorter than average for her race, standing near parallel to the slits of her eye lits. Her glowing green eyes are complemented by her darker green dress, which is garnished with gold and blue lining. Elizabeth holds her long blonde hair with a blue ribbon… which is etched into the braid she crafted with it. Her spirit body is slightly transparent, a sign of her spirit form.

Personality:
Elizabeth is quiet and conserved… choosing not to interject herself into the conversations of others. She prefers to spend her time either reading or attending her sacred garden (which she is very protective of). However, those you manage to successfully approach her will fine she is a cheerful and caring individual who only wants what’s best for those she sees as her friends.

Backstory:
Princess Elizabeth was once the heir to the highest of Elven Kingdoms. Groomed to take the spot of Queen at an early age, young Elizabeth learned about the many threats to the Elven society. She was taught in archery and politics… even receiving some teachings in magic. Her mother taught her how to listen to the whispers of nature, a gift of her bloodline. Everything was set for her rise to power, but then there was only fire. And everything was gone.

When Elizabeth woke, all that remained was her garden. Built around it was a chapel of faith, a place of worship for humans. She tried to speak with the priests, to learn the fate of her family and her kingdom… but everyone ran. They were afraid of her. She had no knowledge as to why. Was there a war? Did the demons corrupt her people? Did her father do something unthinkable? Many thoughts wandered through her mind as she sat in her garden, tending to her flowers and her trees. She reached out to them, but they wouldn’t answer. She could no longer hear the whispers. Now she was alone… with nothing but her garden, a church and their library to keep her company.

Many years passed by before another human walked into her home. A taller man with strange clothing. He arrived after hearing word of an abandoned chapel that was believed to be haunted. When he encountered Elizabeth, the human introduced himself as Arthur Mithril and explained the princess her situation. She was a spirit, a creation of a soul being corrupted by demonic magic as they die… forcing them to walk the mortal realm for all eternity. Arthur had also made a request, to allow him to use the chapel as his new base of operations. Elizabeth, now able to learn the truth, gladly accepted his request.

Appearance:
Karmedon keeps his body and his clothes well mannered and professional. He wears a deep black business suit that contrasts against his pale skin and pure white hair, which he keeps combed back. He carries around a large briefcase almost anywhere he goes… which carries his various on the go medical tools. His piercing blue eyes are covered by a pair of glasses.

Personality:
Karmedon is a calm, serious individual with a hint of a humorous side. He is quick to take initiative and even quicker to treat the injured or sick as he comes across them. Despite his softer tone, his eyes give off a cold and cynical gaze… one that can likely be attributed to his training as an assassin.

Backstory:
Karmedon was one of the first elves to approach the humans of the mortal realm. He chose to become a part of their society and learn their ways… in hopes to bring the two cultures together under the banner of peace. He was first approached by agents of the UN, then later by a military agent from the United States of North America. Agent Grimstead seeked to capitalize on Karmedon's knowledge of the forests to help deal with the ever looming threat of the demons. The young elf would take the agent’s offer and begin training as an assassin and a military freelancer.

During his time as an assassin, Karmedon saw countless lives be lost in the endless struggle for survival. Some died quickly, others had slow, painful ones… some he even had to kill when they became corrupt with power or had been manipulated into treason. After fifteen years of service, Karmedon retired his uniform and took his talents into the field of medicine. He used his military funds to become a surgeon, where he continued to work until he was recruited by his former freelancer, Arthur Mithral, as his guild's medical chief.

Appearance:
Tina is tall and skinny, frail in appearance leaving those around her to underestimate her. She is nearly a foot taller then most women her age age and race thanks to her Oni half. She has a kind, gentle face that has a hint of sadness behind it, especially when others aren't looking. Her ears are slightly pointed and she has a pair of stubby horns on the top of her head which she hides with her hair. Her natural hair color is blue like her father, but she usually dyes it black to fit in. Tina has a medium bust, a small, fit tummy with healthy abs, and medium hips.

Personality:
Tina is kind and gentle to those she knows, always willing to lend a hand even at her own expense. She has an affinity for animals, and is always looking out for the misfortune. She has a darker side to her personality however. Her trust is not easy to get and very easy to lose. She is very intolerant of the, ironically, intolerant, and comes down hard on the prejudiced and bullies. She likes well behaved children but isn't shy to chastise naughty boys and girls. All these are signs of the life she had to live, in addition to the fact that it is much harder for men to gain her trust then women.

Backstory:
Tina was the product of an illicit affair between a human mother and her Oni lover, the result of an unsatisfied arranged marriage exacerbated by the husband's hefty work schedule. While not proud of the affair, Tina's mother truly loved her Oni lover, and he her. It for this reason that it was so hard when her husband gave her an ultimatum; never see the Oni again or lose his support.

Tradition, social norms, and societal pressure prevailed, and Tina's mother broke the Oni's heart by telling him she could never see him again. Despite her husband's promise to raise the baby as his own, however, news spread fast of the child's true father, as it was hard to hide things like small horns, an unusually large size for a baby, or a baby's unusual strength. While their town got along well enough with the local Oni settlement, they still did not like or trust the demons, and soon pressure from friends, family, and the village itself wore the husband down.

And so he left them when Tina was only two. An outcast as an adulterer with a bastard child by a demon, Tina's mother endured the sneers and mistreatment of the townsfolk for another year before moving away. Woth what little money she had, the pair moved from Japan to the United States, where they would roam the country as travelling exorcists. Using akills passed down throughout her family lineage, Tina's mother performed exorcisms and provided wards to stave off weaker demons and elementals.

Tina never lived anywhere long enough to make much in the way of friends, though there were always enemies. She was always the new girl, a foreigner, and half Oni. She never felt like she fit in, a fact not helped by constant bullying throughout her childhood. As she got older, the bullying only got worse, eventually becoming violent.

Things seemed to take a turn for the better when she befriended a seemingly kind and benevolent teacher at the age of thirteen. The kindness turned out to be a ruse, however, and in the end, Tina was left mentally traumatized while the teacher ended up in intensive care. Things were settled in court rather quickly. With no physical evidence to suppirt the claims of a half demon, the only good thing to come out of the settlement was the teacher not pressing charges of assault and Tina's mother not having to pay hospital fees.

This event would change things for both women in drastically different ways. Tina's already depressed mother sunk deeper into depression for once again failing to protect her daughter. Tina, on the other hand, decided that she would make sure she was never the victim again. For ghe next five years, she would work odd jobs and scrap together whatever bit of money she could to afford training, focusing on CQC martial arts and weapons that took advantage of her superior strength. She additionally focused on developing her long neglected fire and wind magic.

Now eighteen, graduating high school with passable grades, Tina is ready to show the world what she is made of. She grew up resenting her Oni half, and while that resentment will always be a part of her, she has learned to embrace it as well and use it to her advantage. While she is not entirely sure about what she wants to do with her life, she knows she wants it to involve helping the less fortunate, and should a Guild provide her with an opportunity to use her talents to do just that, she'll be eager to join.

Appearance:
Tyrone has the dark skin of someone of African descent from before it was taken over by demons. He has short, black hair cut into a mohawk. He is extremely muscular and fit, over two hundred pounds of pure muscle. Handsome, but with a frequent serious look on his face that can act as a turn off. Scars of various size, shape, and depth mark his body.

Personality:
Tyrone is an extremely serious man. He is good at what he does, and what he does is fight, but has left little time to learn the ways of social interactions. Because of this, he can come off as cold and disinterested. He has a kind heart deep down, though he keeps people at an arm's distance to protect them and himself. He has a deep seeded hatred for all non-humans, especially demons, and isn't afraid to share that fact, even with allied demons.

Backstory:
Tyrone lived on a farm in a rural part of eastern United States until he was fourteen. At that time, his farm was attacked by a group of Imps and accompanying ferals. The events that took place at this time will forever be a mystery. The only survivors of the attack were Tyrone and his youngest sister Cassandra, ten years his junior. Tyrone himself remembers the panic of his parents and the screams of his brothers and sisters. Then, according to him, everything went white, and when he came to, he was surrounded by cops and scared villagers, covered in blood and holding the severed head of an imp.

He might not remember how he killed all those demons on his own, but he does remember the pain of loss. The sounds of his family's screams of suffering still haunt his dreams to this day. He can never forget the deep guilt he has for letting his family die, the fact that he killed his attackers after they had already slain most of his family doing little to ease his pain.

Tyrone and his sister spent the next four years in foster care, no one willing to adopt the both of them and Tyrone refusing to let them be seperated. When his education was complete, Tyrone left the orphanage with his sister and started a life dedicated to revenge. He attempted to be a police officer for a while, but their methods were too soft for him.

Supporting himself and his little sister with odd jobs from construction to freelance demon hunting, not all of it always legal, Tyrone spent the over two decades following his family's death sculpting himself into a demon slaying machine. All his free time, save what little he could spare for Cassandra, was spent excersicing and training. He has a steict diet and exercise routine that keeps him in top physical shape. He has studied all kinds of fighting, from street brawling to advanced martial arts. He has trained with a plethora of different hand and projectile weapons. And he has exercised his brain as well, dedicating recovery time between physical training to learn all he can about the forces of the world out to destroy humans, especially demons.

In a word, Tyrone is a weapon, and proud of it. Few aside from his sister have ever seen his softer side and the pain of guilt he suffers every day. While he has avoided Guilds in the past, afraid to be shakled down by rules and orders, he has come to realize there is little he can do on his own and is now seeking active recruitment.

Appearance:
Tall and skinny with a moderate bust, Anastasia has the appearance of a woman in her early twenties despite the belief that she is much, much older. She has vibrant purple eyes and shoulder length hair, save for two strands that reach down past her bust. She has a youthful, joyous smile on most occasions and dresses in somewhat revealing witch's attire, mostly for fun.

Personality:
Anastasia is an broker of information and exotic items to any and all customers, and thus must, by necessity, have an personality to fit her position. As such, she is vibrant and cheerful, always laughing and smiling. She is quick to make a joke and often makes light of situations. She holds no obvious sides, working all angles, and is friendly with all comers. She has a deep, dark side, however. The are plenty of stories of thise who have crossed her and regretted it, though no one knows of any of said people. Either that is because they are just stories, are those that lived to regret crossing her didn't live for very long.

Backstory:
Anastasia's past, and much of her present, is shrouded deeply in mystery. It is believed she is Russian based on her name and accent, but exactly where and when she was born are unknown. Her name has popped up throughout history for hundreds of years. Most believe this is because it is a name that has been passed down from women inheriting her position. Anastasia would have you believe it has always been her, and there are those that believe her.

Anastasia is a master of all kinds of magic, but prefers dark and blood magic. She is a necromancer, though only seems to practice necromancy for her own wants and needs. Her main occupation is that of a trader of rare items, artifacts, weapons, and information. There is little she seems to not know. Her prices vary wildly, and it is said she once had an enchanted sword she only offered to at a king's ransom until one day she gave it away for free to a young delivery boy that made her laugh. Whether this tale is true or an exaggerated, how much you'll be charged or what you'll have to give her in exchange does seem to depend as much on her mokd and how much she likes you as anything else.

Anastasia is allies with everyone and no one, not picking sides and willing to assist anyone for the right price. Because of this, she has many allies that do not trust her and many enemies that dare not touch her. She has contacts all around the world, able to travel great distances and appear almost anywhere woth magic all her own, and has never been known to break a deal or contract unless the other party failed to pay up.

She has two known associates, both of whom she acts through and who are believed to be the only two people in the world she fully trusts, a fallen Angel named Alice and her 'daughter', a patchwork homunculus named Dorothy.

Alice is quite quiet when she can get away with it, but isn't afraid to speak up when need be. She is more reclusive then her boss, but is knowledgable and always willing to do her job. She is sweet on the outside, but such sweetness hides an inner darkness.

Backstory:
Little is known about Anastasia's allies, including Alice, though it is believed that Alice challenged the order of the angels and rubbed the wrong angels wrong. What she said is unknown, as she isn't one to talk about her past, but it might have something to do with an apparent affinity for humans, having no problem working with them and for one.

Alice works as an additional information broker and saleswoman along side Anastasia, but her main job is her boss' muscle. Don't let that gentle nature fool you. Most who underestimate her lose their heads so fast, they have time to see their decapitated body before they die.

Backstory: Hailing from the esteemed family lineage of the Dark Crusaders, Eraieth was surrounded by the most powerful fighters and ritual magic casters. They knew many powerful spells, but none so powerful as the fabled Implosion magic.
Eraieth dedicated his entire life to learning Implosion magic, refusing to learn any other poor man’s alternatives to it. Even when it became difficult possessing no magic spells at all, he persevered through peer pressure and teasing, unshaken from his goal from those who couldn't understand. Its long cast time makes it rather unwieldy during a fight, but a true Implosion master wouldn’t worry about something so trivial. It is, after all, the most powerful magic, foretold to decimate armies and wipe out countless foes. But one does not learn the most powerful magic without wishing to test it out. So, he sought a group who would admire the awe-inspiring power of the Implosion magic with him. To this day, not one has accepted his offer.

Appearance: Sho usually wears a hoodie with a cloth wrap that goes around his mouth. He tends to dress rather lazily but the fact is always the same: he always wears a mask of some sort that covers his mouth and sometimes the top of his head. However, if he is entering a dangerous area, he will quickly don a gasmask and will not shed it unless absolutely necessary.

Personality: Sho is a quiet man, one who tends to keep others at at arms length distance if possible. This is a defensive response due to how caring and attentive he can be when it comes to others, forgoing his own needs in lieu of helping others. This tends to irritate some as he refuses to let others care for him, and should they try, he quickly tries to break any friendships, lest they stick.

Backstory:
Shojiro’s past is mysterious, not much information exists on what he did or where exactly he came from. Most indicate that he came from Japan, as he speaks like a native of Kyoto would, yet his English is also refined, with no hint of an accent. The man first popped up onto databases when he started freelancing without Guild approval or protection. This, naturally caused rifts with other guilds and earned him some enmity from several of them. However, despite this troubled history, it seems there isn’t very much about Mr. Yasunaga to discover, besides the fact that everything, save for his pistols, was handmade.

Appearance: Wreave looks more like a monster then man, his face has burn marks and two scars one on his nose and the other on his forehead. He doesn’t wear much armor or shirts he wears a wolf cloak as a makeshift jacket. If you can get him out of it, both his arms are covered in rune assuming if you get that close.

Personality: Wreave is very isolated being bore a half demon he chose to live in isolation and prefers to be by himself, he doesn’t have much experience with talking to others so when or if he does he usually only has one word sentences or just grunts.

Backstory: Born in Europe Wreave was conceived when a demon violated a woman, before the woman was killed by the demon an man saved her from the monster but the child was still conceived. When she gave birth to the half demon she gave him to an orphanage not wanting the boy but not wanting to kill him ether. As a child Wreave had a hard life, most children would avoid him and he wouldn’t talk to others ether. At ten years old a one of the teen orphans bullied Wreave every day for about three years one day Wreave would have enough and would tackle his bully to the ground and start attacking him. This didn’t last long as the bully hit the side of his head with a rock and started kicking him, this was a mistake as the boy turned into a demon with red eyes two horns and to the surprise of most with pale skin. He easily over powered his bully and beat him to death he then set his friends on fire with. When he calmed down everyone stepped back in fear of him before angles or other humans came after him he ran out the orphanage and has been running ever since. Now as an adult he has more control of his demon self

Appearance: Alexander stands a very impressive six foot eight inches, towering over most people he encounter with a muscular frame, and is usually seen wearing black armor with fear on his shoulder.

Personality: Alexander is very kind to most the majority of humans, which is the complete opposite of most of his brothers and sisters. While he is very kind to humans he’s very aggressive and vile to demons, and apathetic to his own kind, but will try and bring them and any human to his side.

Backstory: In his earlier days Alexander was a devout angel, he was fearsome to demons he showed them no mercy or quarter. If it wasn’t for the angel wings most would think that he was a demon, for the first two hundred years of his life Angel was dedicated to the cause of killing the demons in the name of the lord and their religion. Then he was ordered to kill go after a group of humans that were worshiping demons, Alex question his order but if they were heretic they needed to be put down. When he finished the mission he saw no signs of demon worship and that he just killed a bunch of innocent humans, he then went to one of the higher angels and question why did they killed a bunch of innocent humans. His superior told him that humans are a disease that needed to be purged that they weren’t worth of them or their protection. After hearing this on his next assignment after he killed more demons his fellow angels were ordered to kill him after questioning his last orders, his subordinates didn’t stand a chance and he left the divine order. He spent the next two hundred years lost not know what to do with himself fighting both demons and angels that came after him, he then decided to go to America which at the time was a new colony he then decided to live among the humans and indulge himself in sin. As he continued to delve into sin he realized that the humans weren’t as evil as the angels said they were, and he then came up with an idea that he can’t fight this battle alone and he need soldiers to aid him with his cause. To which the angels sent one of their finest named judgment to kill the fallen angel. When she found him he beat her but barley and instead of killing her he decided to take her to his home in the middle of the woods, were he starved her and tortured her for days until she was forced to sin and given into gluttony and listen to what he was saying. He forced her to reflect on what she did to the humans and after months of this she broke and forced her to also live among humans and saw that they weren’t as disease and needed to be purged as she was told, and the fallen angel had his first disciple after another several hundred years the two had a daughter and he vowed to beat both the angels and demons form the earth.

Appearance: Damon is a deeply tanned Man with a rough, scraggly mountain survivalist style beard with long unkempt hair. His face is a tapestry of scars of violent and ferocious battles past, the most notable being the three claw marks that drove up his throat on his right side, stopping at his right cheek, as well as a massive burn scar that covers a large part of the left side of his head.

Damon often wears the legendary armor of his order of Warriors and Paladins, but outside of battle he usually sticks to thick leathers including an old worn black leather long coat and steel-toed boots. He wears a single shoulder pad and gauntlet on his left sword arm even outside of battle, just to be prepared in case of a sudden attack.

He can also often be seen wearing a pirate style Captain's Hat that reveals a strangely eccentric side to the man that is juxtaposed strangely with his often serious demeanor. His hands are often gritty and dirty, his fingernails cracked and blacked from weary, withering work.

Personality: Damon comes off as a large intimidating beast of a man, his face gritty and often serious and aggressive. This first impression is a correct one, but he is a more complicated man than just that. He tolds firmly onto an air of invincibility and has done much to build up that reputation to his peers and even enemies. He shows no mercy or quarter to his enemies because he knows that his enemies would give him none, his brutal fighting style in combat striking fear into hearts. Of course, this veneer of being the most invincible, dangerous, and unstoppable man in the world, is only the first layer you see of him. Damon can show a surprisingly compassionate side to her personality and values loyalty most in his heart, the Men and Women that he calls his friends he would gladly and willing face down an army for, and he has on occasion. Still, you can tell he is a troubled man and that hints at some kind of past, a past that he refuses to speak of, even to his closest allies. Many speculate that Damon is merely a moniker that he took for himself as to stop people prying into his past, a speculation fueled by the fact that no records exist on the man, but he often laughs these rumors off as well. Whatever the case, Damon is a Man that you would love to have as a friend and would dread ever having as an enemy.

Backstory: Damon was born on the floating ruin of the horn of the once African Continent that was split and separated from the mainland, at least that's what he says, nothing and no one can corroborate that story. He mentions that he left home at a young age to become a soldier, but a terrible personal tragedy left him struggling to find a place in the military, no, he needed something more.

That was when he found out about the order of Holy Warriors and Vanguard against the monsters of the world, the fabled Emortuus Sacerdotium. Known to the modern vernacular as the Perished Priesthood.

He and many other recruits that attempted to join the legendary order of Monster Slayers take a solemn vow to give everything to God in defense of Mankind, their lives, their dreams, their ego, and their very fears. For only those who are the most truly faithful and righteous join the ranks of the Ancient Latin Order.

He and the other recruits went through grueling months and months of education and training, not only of the body and mind but also the spirit, the Battle Nuns of the Priesthood teaching him everything to know about the righteous path of God and the importance of sacrifice.

That final lesson would be tested most of all when it was revealed at the end of their training the secret of the power of the order, each person much swallow whole the heart of a demon, if your will and your faith were strong enough, and your convictions to yourself and to God were righteous enough, you could fend off the corruption that was forever festering inside of you and eating at your soul, allowing you to use the unique powers of the Demon you consumed for your own ends and for righteous justice. Many tried to leave then and there, but they were promptly killed to maintain the secret, but Damon stood firm, many who partook died instantly from the sheer immeasurable acid like pain of the process, others died mere moments after that as the Demon absorbed their soul, being reborn in their bodies before being instantly cut down. However, Damon continued, even offering to swallow an Oni Heart, for the more powerful the demon, the greater the potential power, but it also exponentially increased the risk.

As the Oni heart passed whole into his body, he stood strong from the pain, a fire in his eyes like no other. He never did as well on the religious aspects of the organization, but it was clear that whatever was fueling him wasn't religious zeal, but something more like the sheer refusal to die. After hours of seemingly endless pain the likes of which he had never known, he passed, the heart stabilizing and becoming dormant for now. After nearly 80 percent of the recruits lay dead in some form or another, they were told that they could still be consumed if their faith and strength were to falter too much and that your powers would find you with time. They then stated that each of them would be assigned a Seraphim Mentor, Angels that also underwent the same ritual and training, but that were also directly trained under the angel founders of the order.

His mentor was an experienced Female Angel named Ignja Biczowanie, over the next twenty-two years of fighting, the two formed an inseperable bond, always fighting together and side by side. Despite the fact that it was a Man and Woman, their vows both forbade any distractions in their mission to protect and destroy evil, much to the chagrin of many a bored, gossiping recruit.

In the current day, with desperation at recent events, the United Nations struck a deal with the Emortuus Sacerdotium, formerly declared a terrorist organization due to their… extreme measures… to allow an ambassador of the organization to join the discussions and aid the fight against the monsterous hordes. However, with trust between the two organizations still strained, it was decided that only two of their most experienced warriors would join in to help for now, the two selected for this important task, of course, being Damon and Ignja.

Now the two of them join the main cause against darkness, while being shunned by both Demonkin for their organization's infamous zeal and religious beliefs, as well as the Angelkin for they see their fellow brothers having chosen a path of corruption and evil, despite saying they serve the Divine.

Weapon of choice: A Large Single Edged Cutlass made of Blessed Steel and a single 11 round magazine Hand Cannon Magnum.

The chains split two ways connecting to two possible nearby enemies and lighting them up with Shadowfire, then those two each also split into two with a similar effect ending at the third series of targets. No target can be hit more than once.
  • Cursed Shot: Enchants Magnum to fire bullets that transform into flaming, screaming demon skulls that follow targets and harry them for a short time.

Appearance: Ingja stands proudly with her ash covered skin, scarred hands and face, long red ponytail, and large, muscular frame. Her large, sooty grey wings are folded neatly on her back, cuts and bruises constantly marking up her face, her body is a canvas to her experience as a warrior and a Slayer of Monsters. She typically wears extremely bulky, charred black metal armor, however it doesn't seem to weigh her down much. Not even her large, blacked steel mouth guard that covers her lower face and jawline causes her any discomfort. She lives in this armor in and out of combat like a second skin and it, like her, has seen a great deal of punishment over her two centuries of fighting. She wields a massive silvered claymore, the traditional weapon of the Seraphim Angels, as well as a flamer in her hands that is constantly fueled and ready to light up anyone who threatens her. Her shoulder pads and legguards are engraved with Jewish religious symbology, like Monorahs and Stars of David, which she wears with great pride.

Personality: To say Ignja is an intimidating woman would be an understatement, she's often fiery and aggressive in her personality and mannerisms. As well, she is fiercely prideful and religious, her Zeal towards her faith likely to be one of the first things you associate with her. As well as her extreme religious beliefs, she is also fanatically anti-demon, willing and wanting to find and destroy the monsters wherever they are. She takes great pride in her skill as a warrior and her skill in battle, charging in and showing her enemies the full might of her purifying fire.

Off the battlefield she is incredibly strong willed and surprisingly playful, often cracking jokes as well as spending time with her friends. However, she makes sure that her socializing doesn't get in the way of her training, her praying, or her oath to destroy all evil. People that know her say that once you get past her more abrasive aspects, notably her strict adherence to her code and her fanatic zeal, the friendly and even joyful side of her comes out in full force.

Backstory: Ignja was born over two centuries from the present day in Poland to two Angel Parents, both Seraphim whose job it was to hunt down enemies of the heavens and bring them to justice. Oftentimes these would be Angels that had fallen from grace and that had to be returned so that they may be removed of their grace. When Ignja was born, both of her parents were currently on a mission to find and locate members of a dangerous order of fallen Angels, The Emortuus Sacerdotium, and they couldn't leave until they found them. Normally pregnant Angels would return before they gave birth, but her parents had orders not to return unless the job was done or they were unable to continue their duty.

As her parents found the trail of the Corrupted Organization, they sadly abandoned little Ingja in a safe place in the forest, as giving birth outside of Heaven made a child automatically fallen, before leaving to hunt their target. They had expected to come back and discuss what they should do with her after they captured the traitors. They wouldn't return. Several hours later a group of the Emortuus Sacerdotium found Ignja by tracking where their hunters had come from when they suddenly heard her crying. Unfortunately, her parents in their duty had failed to take their offer of surrender before the two sides engaged in battle. Their duty dictated that they had to finish their mission, or return as corpses, and they promised that as long as they lived, they would complete it. Thus, the Archbishop of the Organization had no choice but to kill them both in single combat. Once the Archbishop found the baby, she decided that since no one likely knew of her existence in the heavens, with her parents dead and having no home in The Holy Realm due to her place of birth, the leader of the Sacerdotium took Ingja in.

As Ignja grew, the organization taught her everything they knew about their religion and beliefs, their methods and combat styles, and eventually their Dark Rituals. They were always extremely honest and open with Ignja about her past and the death of her parents, the Archbishop herself even telling Ignja upfront that she killed them in self defense.

The Emortuus Sacerdotium believes that they are making the ultimate sacrifice, martyring themselves in the eyes of their brothers, to protect the heavens and the people of the mortal realm. Even if they are hunted by Angels or Humans, they don't want conflict with those two forces, often they will do anything and everything possible to avoid a fight. However if they have no other choice, they will gladly put their foot down and defend themselves, and that was what happened with her parents.

Ignja surprisingly understood this, they had been honest and open about everything else all her life and it wasn't like she could go back to the Heavenly Realm anyway. So she continued to her training directly with Archbishop Ashana Imane, until she was eventually ready to undergo the corruption ritual. Angels who undergo the ritual fast for weeks and stay in complete solitude to build up their mind and faith in preparation for the harrowing ritual. Because for Angels, you are expected to consume the most potent of demon hearts, to gain the most potent power, often that of a Devil themselves, and you are expected to fight off the corruptive energy with the pure force of your faith. Ignja selected the heart of a Flame Devil, an extremely powerful Lord of Fire and Brimstone, it took an entire year of constant searing pain, non-stop meditation and focus, to push back the darkness within her to the point where it went dormant. And at that point she was finally an Emortuus Seraphim.

Ignja spent years and years after training even harder to master and control her new powers and command of purifying holy demonic fire, nearly thirty to be exact, before she even saw a day of real battle. However after her trials, she became, over the next one-hundred and fifty years, one of the most esteemed and respected Seraphim of the Priesthood.

More recently, she was assigned to partner with and Mentor a young man named Damon, and the two became a powerful and extremely dangerous pair, legends of the order. The two of them became the most trusted of friends and allies, eventually being known by their brothers and sister as 'The Lawbringers.' Eventually the UN, former enemies of the order, called upon them to help stem the tide of Demons now wreaking havoc on the continent. Ignja and Damon were the two warriors who were chosen by the Archbishop to represent the entire order and woe be to any who cross their path.

  • Penitent Immolation Breath: Ingja breathes out of her nose and mouth a wave of searing hot fire that covers an area and burns anything caught it in.
  • Flagellant Corona: Ingja creates a cage of flame around an enemy or herself, if cast on an enemy in locks them in place and burns them severely as they are stuck inside. If cast of herself she can move with it, giving herself a shield of fire that radiates outwards from her, burning enemies.
  • Repentia Raptura: Ignja lights her wings as well as her entire body on fire as she charges forward in a spiral of fire, grabbing a single enemy and carrying them up into the sky. As they are carried they are severely burned before being suplexed back down. Can instead choose to end with Purifier Comet.
  • Purifier Comet: Ingja expends a massive amount of Mana to pull back and lift herself up into the air with her wings before slamming into the ground like a meteorite, creating a massive shockwave that knocks enemies down as well as a swirling vortex of fire that is so hot it doesn't even spare Ignja herself. The Angel takes recoil damage from this attack, if she is holding an enemy she can drag the enemy against the ground as she lands, grinding them into the floor as they're burned before turning them into a flaming projectile and hurling them at a single target.

Appearance: Amazonian in build, Adriel has long platinum-blonde hair that cascades down to the middle of her back. Her grey eyes often give her a bit of an intimidating appearance, one that is often dissuaded by a very lazy smile. A nasty scar hangs over one side of her head, that her hair hides. She wears full platemail with an open back slot for her white wings to go through, coupled with a plumed helmet (The plume is her hair).

Personality: Very laid back, she usually makes jokes to alleviate her stresses as well as others. She is very dedicated to her job and allows no exceptions or excuses to slow her down from pursuing her targets. She often flirts whether that be with a dangerous mortal she’s hunting or a fellow angel. This is to hide her inferiority complex.

Backstory: Born into a constant war, Adriel adapted, striving to show offf how talented she was at any and all turns. Thanks to parental indifference for her ‘stronger’ brother Jesarii, Adriel improved herself to her very limits and then decided to continue past. As she grew older, her desire for improvement was lessened and she grew to adopt the lazy inept persona. Many of her enemies misjudge this aspect, but few get to live afterwards.
