Why is... you... that sucks! What is wrong with life, kicking people like us when we're down. I am so sorry.
Life does not treat the truest human beings with the kindness you'd expect to receive from being one yourself. It's rather depressing, especially when there's no one to help you when you're helping others.

So... Maybe in order to distract us all from the awful stuff that's happening, I have more Kingdom Death: Monster stories to share!

The Third Year...

The Founding Team leaves once more into the darkness, hunting another Lion, quickly, they located a horrible totem crafted in meticulous detail by this lion... Metal, Bone, Fingers, hung off the icon, tied with string.

Disturbed greatly, the group leaves, finding the field where they had been ambushed before... But this time, with the knowledge from before, they pick up the lions tracks... Ambushing it inside the grass.

They found it among the plains, laying next to a massive tree, the same trinkets hanging from it as before, but this time including skulls... And half eaten bodies...

Now with their experience, they used the tree to their advantage, ducking around it and through the grass, whittling it down with strikes. Betty's arrows pierced it's hide, Drayce's Axe carved flesh, despite his arm, Jay struck true with his dagger, and Mina slashed it to ribbons with her blade.

And as fast as the last, it fell dead on the ground...

When they returned they were met with a shadowy trader, sitting in a palenquin pulled by slaves, hocking sketchy wares. The group purchased a glowing stone, only to discover it was merely a painted, sharpened rock... Still good for throwing though...

--------

Our main team went out once more, being the most experienced, to find the source of the Screaming they had heard... A Screaming Antelope.

It wasn't far from their home when they heard a terrible rumbling, a massive herd of the creatures they were hunting stormed towards them, rather than face the heard, they quickly hid. They were unharmed, but their prey moved farther from them in that time.

As they continued further, Drayce fell behind the group some, suddenly, an inexplicable wave of loneliness hit him, filling him mind with painful memories... But... He continued on, catching up with the others.

Days afterward, they came upon a pile of rotting, festering, vomited up meat. Betty, Jay, and Mina decide to search the pile for anything useful, the Fly and Mina couldn't stomach the smell, vomiting and refusing to keep searching. Jay however, found a Horn from another Antelope in the slime, cannibalism, he thought? He pondered this briefly before taking it and moving on.

Coming upon the Antelope, it was a long, drawn out fight, the creatures screams and the skidding of it's teeth upon the ground drove Drayce and Jay near to Madness, however, thanks to their natural slipperyness and a few pecision strikes to the beast, it could hardly mount more than a few weak attacks on the group. With Betty utilizing high ground to land easier shots, as well as the others striking from out of the range of it's lethal back legs, the Antelope fell, the abomination laying still for good.

But as soon as they returned... One Joe Andrews and Magdalene Annahsvere warned that they spotted a ten foot tall, savage looking man duel-wielding two cleavers following in the distance behind our party. And was now at our door...

Recorded my first LP video with sound, which I will upload tomorrow. I am not used to talking for almost an hour straight, so my throat is sore and wheezy. :p Plus I have to wait until everyone is asleep so I have to do it late at night. But, despite some sound syncing problems (why does it line up at one part but not another?!), it turned out pretty good. Hope you guys like.

Hope you guys watch...

I'm glad to hear that your content is evolving. :3

And, if you have any issues with video recording/editing, don't hesitate to ask me for help. I do this kind of stuff all the time. Troubleshooting is something that I can't seem to avoid...

Well, my solution for now will be to record several shorter sets instead of one long set.

I just don't understand how it happens. If I record while I am playing and there is no problem with the time-space continuum that causes time to pass different for me and for the game, then it should sync up throughout, and yet if it is perfectly synced in the middle, my audio is more and more behind the earlier you go in the video, and more and more ahead the later you go in thw video. It is so bizzare.

(And more for you guys :3)

There once was a man who was afraid of everything and could not hide his fear. One day, he found a mask that transformed his Fear into Rage. In turn, the man became a monster... All the remained was a devouring fury that stalked the night, collecting the fearful faces of others...

Rushing in to defend their home was our veteran team. They quickly took cover behind a broken statue face, but the Butcher was quick, faster than anything they had ever fought. It struck two times as fast as any monster before, charging them down and landing flurry and flurry of blows with it's duel serrated cleavers. The weapons cut into the flesh of all our heroes alike, ripping open gaping wounds that bled profusely, only thanks to Mina's bandaging did they not die simply from the blood loss.

Then... Drayce landed a savage blow, one so powerful it forced the Butcher's face from it's visage of rage, to one of surprise. He wouldn't have this, he would pick off all of the Axe Wielding warriors allies before killing him. Vanishing into a flash of light over and over, each time he appeared behind a far away ally, raining strikes into them, over, and over.

However, Drayce never stopped his pursuit, landing crushing blow into crushing blow into the Butcher's back as he dared to ignore him. After a while, Drayce saw weakness in the monster's step, and decided he had had enough. Drayce charged forward, catching the Former Human's neck with his bone axe, sending it off flying into the air with cheers from the others. They would never forget this victory.

As a trophy of his victory, Drayce claimed one of the Butcher's Cleavers as his own, a rare axe never to be duplicated. Drayce sometimes said he heard it whisper to him, like it had a mind of it's own, but only Jay seemed to understand it as well, mayhaps due to their collective madness.

The best way to fix that is to record your voice through Audacity and the game with audio through OBS (if that's what you use). Then, you use an editing program to put them together. Usually, if you need to sync up the two tracks, here's a little thing you can do: start recording on audacity and OBS, then turn your mic on for one of the OBS tracks while Audacity continues to record and you just clap or count in order to know when the commentary and the gameplay intersect. Then, just turn off the recording of your mic track in OBS and play. Simple. :3

Here is a question for you. I recorded my voice audio using my computer directly, which works fine except it picks up every little sound. I have a set up with headphones with a mic and a device called a Roccat Juke headset adaptor, which I need because my laptop doesn't have a micro jack. Problem is, I can't use it because there is this feedback noise, a distracting buzzing noise when I record using it. Is there any way to get rid of that feedback noise in audacity?

Great to hear your voice.

My voice sucks! But elaborate. My commentary, my knowledge, my jokes, my nasally tone? Don't comment on sound quality! It is the best I can do!

Thoughts?
First episode was great! I loved your commentary. Never really been interested in Kingdom Hearts, but I will make sure to watch this. :3

And your voice is fine, still less deep than Blackout's. I guess I expected your voicd to sound a little higher, but I guess Me and my baby voice is the exception. :p

Well... it's hard to match my demon-deep voice, so I am not surprised. But I loved hearing your voice and watching you play. :D

Truth is my voice is far, far deeper in my own ears the in reality, so it is actually high sounding to me. :p
That is also like myself...

Also, there is a background noise cancellation effect you can do once you've finished recording. Should be in the effects tab or something similar. If you have Discord, I'd be able to help you through screenshare. :3

Turns out the problem is on the microphone connection to my headphones. I know because my $40 microphone headphones has the buzzing while my brother's $4 ones don't.
