EXALT is getting into the swings of gene mods, while XCOM lags behind with those that refuse for 'moral' reasons. Beware, those who believe that war does not call for drastic measures. Even though XCOM works with volunteers, I would surmise the Council will waver on their decision to keep gene mods voluntary if EXALT proves to be far superior to us, and we have the MELD to even the odds. In their minds, there is no reason not to use it, and only the Commander prevents them from having their way.

Just thought I'd pop in to reassure you all that I'm not dead. Just had a whole craptonne of stuff happen, and it's not going to get better for at least half a week, maybe a full one, and even then real-time collabs will be strictly off-limits. I apologise for any inconvenience, but it's out of my hands. I'll get back to this as soon as I can.

And then there were six active people until the winter break. I'm just grateful you don't have a soldier xD

I have an Idea for Ammelia's special power, I call it Hyper-Vision!

It is a modification to the SAaIDA that David will send to X-Com that overloads it's Infrawave Detection, allowing Ammelia to temporarily detect Infrawaves through solid objects such as walls. Tell you what you guys think! :)
That could be interesting. But when you say overload, would there be negative reprecutions to using it?

If she uses it for more than thirty seconds or more than once every 6 hours or so, she risks Whiting out her vision for a few minutes, causing damage to the SAaIDA or in absolute worst case, delivering an high voltage electrical shock to her brain.

David wouldn't even have considered this normally, but X-Com is desperate for an edge, and it is either this or possibly having Ammelia limbs forcibly removed by the council. :/

General reminder: missions can be watched by XCOM soldiers and presumably staff as they happen or afterwards. So there might be some interesting reactions to this one...

Prepare yourselves for Operation Unlikely Colleagues, and enjoy. This one was a blast to write with ZombieSplitter, and has some really good moments. Read it thoroughly, or I will beat you into submission with an oversized halibut.

I am having bad flashbacks of the nuns in religious schools...

I'm really starting to care about Elene and Emma, they are so cute! :3

I hope David can talk his way into a happy ending for them. (No, not like that you perv. :p)
