oof... xsplit is the recommended streaming service. Which works if you're not going to stream (but if plan on live streaming Xsplit is another 100 or so bucks). Otherwise, just try and get SLOBS to work and if not, OBS studios is your next best bet

This is the first time I've heard anything about issues with SLOBS... though it was made only last year... so I can imagine it wasn't designed to be usable on older operating systems. But, that is a good point, Elgato (similar to Nvidia) have their own recording software that is free to all...
