Came into work to work with what is normally the nicest guy who is always smiling and laughing. Told him something was wrong that wasn't told to him (a missing key) and he went ballistic, yelling and cursing and such. Gonna be one of those days. Doesn't help I'm exhusted from lack of sleep...

For anyone who hasn't watched the opening ceremony for League of Legends World Finals for 2019... Do so now! It's so good!

RIP G2 man... Caps must be a mess right now after getting 3-0'd at finals twice in a row.

Had an appointment for an ultrasound at 8:15. Left with plenty of time to get there, but of course no one in Chicago can fucking drive. So literally every ten minutes my phone alerts me to a disabled vehicle or a slow down, and somehow another thirty minutes are added to my travel time.

And now I'm sitting in the waiting room, wondering when they'll see me. Will I be sitting here another ten minutes or four hours? Should I wait and risk being here for hours or reschedule and have to go through all this crap on another day all over agin? The best part? I haven't eaten or had anything to drink since last night and I have a horrible headache because the sun was in my eyes the entire ride over, made worse by the lack of sleep from getting up so early, and the lack of food or water.

Didn't even bring my Switch because I didn't know I'd be so late because a bunch of dumb fucks either can't drive or don't take care of their cars.

I'm sorry friend... I'll be honest: that fucking blows, and I would love to give you a hug (One that I'm sure you wouldn't be okay with while you're upset). But I'm here if you need to vent.

So rather then wait until I have played through Shield, had a break, and then forced myself to delete all my progress to start over again, I'm going to do a Nuzlocke of Pokemon: Let's Go, Eevee! It is an easy game, even by Pokemon standards, so a good place to cut my teeth.

Now I've thought long and hard about the rules of the Nuzlocke, and looked at many sources, several of which made it too easy or too hard, so these are the rules I am using.

Starter: Eevee obviously. And I need his outside battle moves to play the game so if I lose him, that's an empty slot on my team.

Catching: First Pokemon I see on each route/cave. There is a lot of arguement on how this should work, so I will simply go after the first one that pops up, and if different ones pop up at the same time, I leave the route to reset it. If I fail to catch the Pokemon, I get nothing from that location.

Naming: All Pokemon must be nicknamed.

Fainting: A Pokemon who faints is considered dead and must be released or turned into candy asap.

Black Out: As long as I have at least one Pokemon I can continue, unless I lose my entire team in one fight and Black Out. That is Game Over.

Multiple selections: I can use one other way to catch a Pokemon on each route. Only one chance to do so once again.

Trades and Gifts: I can only use pokemon that I can trade for in game with NPCs. I can not use any pokemon traded outside the game, any taken from Pokemon Go, or any gifted to me (so I can't use the three original starters).

Legendaries: Can catch them if I want but I can not use them.

Shinies: Can catch them if I want but unless it was my first encounter of the route, I can not use them.

Duplicates/Species: I can ignore duplicates I encounter on new routes. However, if I find a Pokemon of a later line in that species I have not caught or evolved, it is the Pokemon I must catch.

Items: This is my first Nuzlocke. I'm allowing myself to use items in battle.

Leveling: You don't get enough exp from trainers alone, so I am allowed to capture Pokemon after my first encounter as long as I don't use them/release them asap.

I... think that's everything. Let me know if I missed anything. Assuming I can drag my lazy butt out of bed, I start tomorrow before work.

That seems good to me!
