Hard to show a 3D area of space on a 2D piece of paper, so here is a rough estimate of the area. Imagine the center is diamond, and the 4 hexigon areas of space are actually polyhedron has 8 faces, 18 edges, and 12 vertices... or something like that...

All very cool. Clarifying station question: I'm assuming each level is its own miniature city really, not like a 3 meter high floor. So there's substantial depth both horizontally from the center axis (inward and outwards) and depth up and down (point to point). That correct?

That is correct. I'm no artist so it is hard for me to show, but each level is the size of a city, the largest city being in the middle and the smallest being at the top and bottom of the spire (but still pretty sizable in their own right.) By Megacity I do mean Mega.

Obviously to maintain perfect gravity everywhere and the like centrifugal force wouldn't be even at that scale, but since we have artifical gravity tech we can say it adjusts things accordingly. The spin force is just saving energy for the station's massive consumption needs - why pass up a 'free' source of gravity?

Right So as a early telling, I've got a colabe going up with me and Blackout. It's gonna be a long one, and we get to see a diffrent side of Blisk in it. so

I'm back from my long "weekend", as Thursday and Friday are for me. Not very enjoyable. DMV on Thursday. Autoshop on Friday. $1600 later, got a new sway bar, new breaks and rotors, and a new caddy (the part, not the car). Sigh... I almost look forward to getting back to work. Let's see... been at work for 20 minutes... nope! Still wish I was home! Today is going to be a long 16 hour shift... damn me for volunteering for overtime...
