Well... just a headsup from little ol' zombie. Yesterday I decided that I'll fight my depression by trying to be more optimistic and look on the bright side. Force myself to smile until it became a real smile. Take small steps to make myself happier.
Tonight? Still have over three hours of an eight hour shift. I have had a new hire shadowing me all day who asks to many questions in a hard to understand accent, is with me most of the time so I feel claustrophobic, and follows so closely he has bumped into me twice.
In a little bit, I have to go out into the 75°F heat to cone off a huge part of the parking lot.
And to top it all off I have spent nearly an hour fighting tears as I try to stop a friend of mine from killing themselves. And to be honest, if they do, I am depressed enough that I might follow them.
