This will be the placer of official discussion for all Demon Society members and all who would want to join. WE have a long road to go and anyone who wants to tag along using the Think Tank. We will also be making announcement for missions and other things here.

But I just that's what Think Tanks are for, so I don't really need to explain :p

have fun :3

Okay! Since I can't sleep, (cursed alarm has ruined my sleep cycle!) I guess I'll start by saying there's a mission on Saturday! To even out the people who haven't been on a mission recently, I'm hoping Dark and Edge can work on it with me. If anyone wants to jump in for the fourth spot, pm me. Take care. :)

ExoGrim recently asked me something that sounded interesting, and I wanted to get everyone's thoughts on it: Should we set up a story thread to post collabs that happened in the past?

Also, due to a monstrous headache, and a subsequent 'incident' with my family, the mission will be delayed. I'm sorry if this inconveniences you in any way. :(

Alright PEOPLEZ! There will be a mission on Saturday, but similarly to what XCOM is going through, I need to know whether you guys want this to continue. And that means doing collabs and solos, and also talking on this thread. After all, this thread feels pretty dead.

I would like to continue with DS, but I'm starting to feel that things weren't going to work out anymore

Just sharing my thoughts on the situation and Demon Society as a whole.

Things have been extremely slow ever since I backed down from the GM stand. When I was GM, I always had a story in line for when it was important. But now I'm not as enthusiastic about anything I do here. I don't now whether it's the lose in control or the lack of optimism in the story as a whole. And it's no one's fault but mine.

With the lack of story and the issue of the think tank not being taken advantage of, I'm starting to think we should back down from The Demon Society and either do on of two things: start from scratch or make a new RP.

If we start from scratch, we can fix all of the issues in the story (i.e. Accidental Godmoding) and add more back story to the characters. It will allow us to better define our character by new actions and reactions.

If we start a new RP. we'd have new characters and dangers. We would be allowed to have a sense of freshness and I personally would be a little more enthusiastic about it.

These are my thoughts and how I feel we could fix the problems. I'd also like to apologize to @The Con Joe for not being on top of the Collab we're supposed to be doing for those reasons. :( :( :(

Look, the lack of participation is mostly because a lot of us are stressed... Rough things in our lives just happened to allign poorly and we needed breaks...

I can say honestly that the Rp is Great right now, I love it and I loved the mission we did, it was awesome! I don't think we should do anything too hasty, we've put a lot of work into this rp.

Indeed, don't throw away everything immediately. I don't regret my decision to back down on VoF, it was collapsing under the weight of all the factors working against it - but it wasn't a decision I came to quickly.

If I can just offer a suggestion for you guys (from what knowledge I have, since I've been busy with my own stuff and am way behind on DS), I think the best way to cement a stance of continuation is to make sure you know how this is going to end. Whoever's in charge now needs to work with ExoGrim to know what the finale is going to entail and how far away it is. You absolutely do not want to fall into the perpetual story trap, every tale needs to end at some point. Try to steer yourselves towards that ending eventually so you can round off character development and bring the plot to a conclusion. It doesn't even need to be anything that grand, like "Demon Society stops the world from exploding", it just needs to allow the characters some sense of resolution.
